Screw mixer
A rotating, screw-like agitator is mounted on a vertical shaft in the center of the mixer. As this agitator turns, it lifts material from the bottom to the top of the mixer’s conical chamber. Once the material is lifted by the rotating agitator, gravity pulls it back down from the top to the bottom of the mixer.
These combined movements and flows result in a thorough and efficient mixing of the material. A homogenized mix is achieved without damaging the material, making it a gentle, low-shear blending method.
